CORPUS CHRISTI — It looks like we are going to see improving weather conditions for the end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. The clouds are starting to clear out and this will give way to partly sunny skies this afternoon. It is a bit cooler and breezy this morning. Temperatures have dropped into the mid 50s in most locations. The forecast for this afternoon calls for partly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 69 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the north at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly clear skies and cold weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 44 degrees.
Temperatures will remain below normal for much of the week ahead. Expect abundant sunshine with another cold front rolling through the area midweek. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. Daytime high temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s. The overnight low temperatures will mostly be in the 40s. However, Tuesday morning temperatures will drop into the mid 30s. Some inland areas will be at or near freezing.
