CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — As summer is winding down, temperatures are leveling off closer to 90 the next few days with a slightly better chance of rain as weak disturbances move through.
The cold front we've been tracking looks like it will stall to our north through Thursday and move through Friday but will be very weak with the cooler air staying in north Texas.
Another weak front is forecast to move in next Monday giving us another better chance of rain and keeping temperatures near normal.
Today, we'll see partly cloudy skies and a high of 91 with isolated showers and t-showers, and a breezy afternoon with southeast winds up to 20 mph. The heat index will reach 100-106.
Tonight, we'll have a better chance of showers toward morning with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
After some morning showers, Wednesday looks partly sunny with a high near 90 and isolated afternoon t-showers with southeast winds up to 16 mph.
