CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a pretty pleasant afternoon here in the Coastal Bend. We saw plenty of sunshine with a daytime high of 63 degrees. It was also rather breezy. Our peak wind gust was out of the North at 33 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 44 degrees. The nice weather conditions will also hold for the MLK Holiday. Look for a few more clouds with a daytime high of 62 degrees tomorrow.
There will be a gradual warming trend and increasing moisture starting on Tuesday. This will lead to a scattered showers and thunderstorms midweek. The next cold front will move through late Thursday. This will bring us more sunny and nice weather for next weekend. Daytime highs this next week will mostly be in the mid 60's.
