CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a beautiful afternoon here in the Coastal Bend following a rather chilly start. We dropped down to 41 degrees this morning. However, this afternoon it was sunny and pleasant with a daytime high of 70 degrees. There was also a lot less wind here than we saw on Friday. The light winds will continue through the end to the weekend. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 44 degrees. It will be sunny and a little warmer on Sunday. Expect an afternoon high around 74 degrees.
It will be in the mid 70's again on Monday. The cold front will arrive Monday night into Tuesday morning. This will drop our daytime high into the mid to upper 60's midweek. It will be windy and warmer for the latter half of the week. Another front will likely arrive Friday evening. It should remain dry for most of the forecast period.
