CORPUS CHRISTI — It's another chilly start to our morning here in the Coastal Bend. Temperatures are in the lower 40s with wind chill temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. We will start the day with mostly sunny skies. However, this will give way to increasing clouds this afternoon. Look for a daytime high around 60 degrees with winds blowing from the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for this evening calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible. Expect an overnight low around 55 degrees. A potent storm system will be impacting much of the Lone Star State for the end to the weekend. Showers will be on the increase as we move throughout the day. The heaviest rainfall is likely to occur closest to the coast. Some areas could recieve between 2 and 3 inches. The rain will be moving out Sunday evening leaving some cooler temperatures in it's path. Daytime highs on Monday and Tuesday will only be in the 50s with overnight low temperatures in the 30s.
