CORPUS CHRISTI — We are looking for some dramatic changes to our weather today here in the Coastal Bend. A strong cold front will move through the area later this morning. It could trigger a few isolated showers and thunderstorms. It will then turn windy and much cooler behind the front. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60's this afternoon. Winds will be blowing out of the north at 20 to 25 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has been issued through Saturday morning. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with windy and cooler weather. Look for an overnight low around 56 degrees. The clouds will stick around for most of the weekend. The daytime high on Saturday will only be in the lower 70's. We should around 80 degrees on Sunday.

The warmer weather will return for the start to the workweek. We should get into the upper 80's for Columbus Day. Look for daytime highs in the lower 90's on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another weaker cold front will move through late Wednesday.
