A Strong Cold Front Blowing In!

CORPUS CHRISTI — We are looking for some big changes in our weather for the next couple of days.

A strong cold front will roll through South Texas this evening. This will bring us very gusty winds with a few isolated showers.

A Wind Advisory has been issued from 9 o'clock tonight through tomorrow afternoon. Winds will be blowing 20 to 30 miles per hour with some gusts around 40 miles per hour. A Freeze Watch has also been issued for Brooks and Kenedy counties Thursday night into Friday Morning.

Temperatures will likely drop below freezing.

The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with windy and cooler weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 42 degrees.

The winds will be blowing out of the north at 20 to 25 miles per hour. The forecast for Thursday calls for breezy and cooler weather.

Expect a daytime high around 60 degrees.

It will be a very chilly Christmas Eve. Temperatures are expected to drop to around freezing Christmas morning.

However, it will be sunny and warmer in the afternoon with an afternoon high of 67 degrees on Friday.
