CORPUS CHRISTI — We are looking at another fantastic weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Expect plenty of sunshine today with a daytime high in the lower 70's. Winds will be blowing out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The winds will shift to the southeast tonight. That will bring in a bit more moisture with the possibility of some patchy fog. The forecast for Sunday calls for sunny and warmer weather conditions. Expect an afternoon high tomorrow in the upper 70's.
We will start the workweek with afternoon temperatures in the lower 80's. However, a strong cold front will roll through overnight on Monday. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. It will be windy and cooler behind the front. Temperatures will struggle to hit 60 degrees on Tuesday. It will be sunny and cooler midweek. The overnight low temperatures will drop down to the mid 40's. A gradual warm up is expected late in the week.
