CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was another hot and humid day here in the Coastal Bend.
There were some strong showers in our inland locations as some areas picked up more than an inch of rain. The storms also helped to cool down our temperatures pretty dramatically this afternoon.
Tonight's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a few showers with an overnight low of 76 degrees.
It will be partly sunny again tomorrow with the possibility for more showers and thunderstorms. Expect an afternoon high of 93 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 mph.
We will continue with a mixture of sunshine and clouds for much of the week ahead with daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90s and the overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
We are going to be watching a tropical wave that is likely to move in late in the week, providing us with the potential for some pretty heavy rain late Thursday into Friday.
