CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some rather chilly temperatures this morning. Most areas are about 15 to 20 degrees cooler than it was yesterday at this time. It is also a little bit breezy with the winds blowing out of the northeast 10 to 20 miles per hour. A small craft advisory is in effect through lunch time. However, it should be a great afternoon to be outdoors. Look for plenty of sunshine with a daytime high around 61 degrees. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies and cooler weather conditions. Expect an overnight low around 43 degrees. The pleasant weather will last through the MLK Holiday. It will be sunny and 60 again on Monday.

We will see increasing moisture midweek. This will lead to possible showers Tuesday night through Thursday. Another front will push the moisture out Thursday night. This will give us a return of sunny and mild weather next Friday and Saturday. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 60's for much of the week.
