CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a hot and breezy start to our Memorial Day weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 91 degrees this afternoon with a peak wind gust around 33 miles per hour. We started the day with quite a bit of cloud cover and even a few sprinkles. We can expect similar weather conditions for the remainder of the weekend. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 77 degrees. Tomorrow we can expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds with an afternoon high around 91 degrees. We will see a little lighter winds on Sunday. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

We will stay in a hot and humid weather pattern for much of the week ahead. The strong winds will pick back up again on Tuesday. We will also see the potential for a few isolated showers midweek. Daytime highs will be in the lower 90’s with overnight lows in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s.
