Corpus Christi – It was a cloudy and cool start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw an afternoon high around 70 degrees today. We did see a few isolated showers across the area this morning. However, most people did not receive any significant rainfall. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 65 degrees. A stray shower is not out of the question. We will see a bit more sunshine and warmer temperatures for our Mother’s Day. Look for a a daytime high tomorrow around 81 degrees with the winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Another Pacific Storm System will be headed our way for the first half of the work week. This could lead to more scattered showers Monday through Wednesday. It should be mostly sunny and dry for the latter half of the week. Daytime highs next week will be in the mid 80’s with overnight lows in the lower 70’s.
