A late season cold front has stalled just to our south and allowed moisture to pool along the front in the Coastal Bend. As an upper level disturbance moves over the area from the west numerous thundershowers will re-develop mainly over the eastern parts of the area resulting in locally heavy rain near the coast with localized flooding again in flood prone areas. The weather will quickly improve on Sunday before rain returns on Monday and Tuesday.
Tonight expect thundershowers to re-form mainly near the coast after midnight cool with a low of 65.
Saturday expect scattered to numerous thundershowers in the morning then rain ending and a little sun in the afternoon with a high of 79.
Saturday night will be cloudy damp and cool with a low of 68.
Sunday-Mother’s Day will be the driest day of the weekend only an isolated shower otherwise light winds and warmer with variable sunshine and a high of 84.
Have a good weekend.
