A Pacific cold front will continue to move toward the Coastal Bend and dissipate Saturday afternoon. Return flow from the Gulf will develop quickly on Sunday lasting until another stronger series of fronts arrives toward the middle and end of next week. For a change temperatures will remain well above normal this weekend and most of next week until Friday.
Saturday expect some mainly light fog early then morning clouds will give way to some afternoon sunshine less and decreasing winds and warm with a high of 85.
Saturday night expect increasing cloudiness a light breeze muggy and mild with dense sea fog developing after midnight and a low of 66.
Sunday expect lots of clouds (more than Saturday) breezy warm and humid with a high of 82.
Note… It will be noticeably cooler on area beaches due to the proximity to the chilly the Gulf of Mexico waters with high temperatures generally in the low 70’s or less for highs every single day for the next week. Latest sea water temperature was 63 degrees!
