CORPUS CHRISTI – It looks like we are going to start off our weekend with some clouds and rain here in The Coastal Bend. We will see increasing moisture moving in from the South. The forecast for today calls for cloudy and breezy conditions with showers likely. A few thunderstorms will also be possible. Look for a daytime high around 65 degrees with the winds blowing from the east at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The showers will continue through the evening. Expect an overnight low around 47 degrees.
A weak cold front will also push through South Texas overnight. This will help to move a lot of this moisture out of here. This will lead to improving weather conditions on Sunday. The forecast for tomorrow calls for partly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 67 degrees. The warm up will continue on Monday with a daytime high in the lower 70’s. The real arctic cold front will move through late Monday night. This will bring us much colder weather midweek.
