CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some big changes in our weather this morning. Our temperatures are about 15 degrees cooler than yesterday at this time. A strong cold front rolled through area on Friday night. This brought abundant rainfall to much of South Texas. However, the shower activity is winding down this morning. This will give way to cloudy and windy conditions this afternoon. Look for an afternoon high around 56 degrees today with the winds blowing out of the northwest at 15 to 20 miles per hour. Tonight some of the clouds will clear out allowing for much cooler temperatures, The forecast low for this evening is around 42 degrees.

The end to the weekend will bring an increase in sunshine… but the temperatures will remain on the chilly side. The forecast for Sunday calls for an afternoon high around 57 degrees. The below normal temperatures will continue for the first part of the workweek. Look for daytime highs on Monday and Tuesday in the low to mid 60’s with overnight low temperatures around 40 degrees. Daytime high temperatures will warm into the mid 70’s Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the next cold front. This will bring us another cool down on Friday.
