CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a very warm end to our holiday weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 83 degrees this afternoon. However, we will see some dramatic changes tonight as a cold front passes through the area. This is going to give windy and much cooler weather conditions overnight. The forecast calls for an overnight low around 46 degrees with the winds blowing out of the north at 15 to 20 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has been issued through tomorrow morning. The winds will start to taper off and the clouds will clear out tomorrow afternoon as high pressure settles in. Look for an afternoon high around 61 degrees.

The coldest air will be in place early Tuesday morning. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40’s. Expect a daytime high around 62 degrees, A gradual warm up is expected for the latter half of the workweek. There is a slight chance for a few isolated showers on Friday and Saturday. Another little cool down is expected on Sunday.
