CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The cool, cloudy regime in place Saturday over the Middle Texas Coast came to a halt with the passage of a warm front early this morning.

In its wake, the Corpus Christians rose to surging temperatures, increasing humidity and isolated rain showers.

Dense fog that encased the area early today has thinned, but fog will return tonight.

Breezy to windy conditions will limit the fog, so another dense fog advisory is not anticipated.

Upper level high pressure will build northward from Mexico and intensify during the work week, bringing mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures near or above 90 degrees.

A very slight chance of showers on Tuesday is likely to affect regions just north of the Coastal Bend, so our next chance for meaningful rainfall will be this weekend.

Another weak cold front moves into the area Friday night. Its proximity through the weekend will provide enough lift for rain chances.
