Combine the fact that Corpus Christi is known as the birdiest city in the United States with the realization that birders are among some of the most loyal visitors to the city, and you begin to understand the idea behind ‘The Birdiest Festival in America.’
For the third year, the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center (8545 S. Staples Street) will be hosting the gathering. This year, they have expanded the event to include an extra day, April 24-28.
The festival will feature birding workshops, a birding industry vendor show, guest speakers and optional guided field trips, as well as an arts/crafts show, vendor tents, Raptor Project shows and a family fun area.
