Coach Willis Wilson and the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders can barely wait for Wednesday to arrive.
The Islanders kick off their 19th season of basketball when Howard Payne visits the American Bank Center for a game starting at 7 p.m.
For the second consecutive season, KRIS Communications will broadcast live select Islander Men’s home basketball games.
The Islanders will be young this season with a lot of new faces.
Wilson, who starts his eighth season as the Islanders’ coach, is excited with what he considers as a very athletic team that will be able to score points in bunches.
Wednesday’s game will be broacast live on KDF-TV and also streamed on KRISTV.com.
