ROBSTOWN, Tx. — On February 2, 2021 at 3:30 PM, a ribbon cutting was held with softball student athletes, Coaches, Field Turf representatives, RISD Administration, Board of Trustees, and the Superintendent of Schools. Guests included City Officials, parents, and members of the community.
The ribbon was cut by Superintendent Dr. Jose Moreno and School Board President, Lori Ann Flores-Garza.
The event was held before the first home scrimmage that took place.
The school is also laying down artificial turf for the baseball and football fields.
