CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a gorgeous day for a tennis match and the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders men’s and women’s teams made the most of it.
Coach Steve Moore’s Islanders played host to the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in their annual South Texas showdown at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.
Both Islander teams came into the day with 4-0 records and both extended those winning streaks.
The men and women both won by 7-0 scores to provide another perfect sweep for the Islanders.
