CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There's no Hooks baseball in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic but the hooks have added some flavor to their line up of apparel for next year's season.

As part of the 70th anniversary of whataburger, the team and the fast food chain continue to their long partnership by unrolling new whataburger themed shirts, hats and more.
The 70th anniversary of whataburger was planned for the 2020 season but was postponed because of the pandemic. Now fans have something to look forward to next year.
“The partnership is fantastic,” said Aaron Valdez, Whataburger’s regional director of operations.
you know you get whataburger and baseball I mean what a great partnership.
The team will have more merchandising, according to Hooks general manager Wes Weigle.
“We are going to continue to roll out some merchandise in 2021 that will correspond with another celebration during the baseball season,” Weigle said. “And you may even see our players don it during the baseballs season.>
