Four players on the Corpus Christi Hooks will be representing the team in the 2019 Texas League All-Star Game on June 25th.
Third-baseman Abraham Toro is the only position player selected. Toro is in the top 10 in both batting average and home runs in the Texas League this year.
The remaining three players are all pitchers for the Hooks. Colin McKee, Bryan Abreu and Carlos Sanabria will join Toro in Tulsa later this month.
The Hooks’ pitching staff is currently 5th in the Texas League in ERA with 4.38.
The Hooks will wrap up the first half of the regular season this weekend on the Road against the Springfield Cardinals.
