ROBSTOWN, Texas — Robstown High School broke ground this afternoon on a project to install turf for their baseball, softball and football fields.
It's a dream realized for the district and the young athletes who will play on those fields.
The new playing conditions are something that the school's teams have been wanting for a long time.
The district says it expects its baseball and softball teams to start playing on the new surfaces during this school year.
