King High School has named a replacement for longtime head football coach and athletics coordinator Eddie Hesseltine.
Douglas Foster will take over the King High School athletics program beginning at the end of March.
The CCISD said in a release that Foster currently is an assistant head coach and special teams coordinator at Foster High School in Lamar ISD.
He has 20-years experience in coaching, having made stops in Fort Bend and Aransas Counties, and Poteet.
"Coach Foster joins CCISD with a wealth of experience as well as familiarity with the Coastal Bend," said Superintendent Dr. Roland Hernandez in the statement. "We look forward to seeing our Mustang athletics program thrive under his leadership."
