FLOUR BLUFF, Texas — It's an unusual week for the Flour Bluff Hornets because just three weeks ago they soundly defeated Victoria West 59-32 to nail down the number two spot in district 15-5A. Now they get to play them again in a rematch on a neutral field at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio Saturday in round three of the playoffs.

"In my 19 years here, this is the first time that we have ever played someone twice in the same season," said Flour Bluff head coach Chris Steinbruck. "This is a little new for us".

The stakes are high since the winner of this game advances to the regional final against the winner of the Vets Memorial/Southwest game. It is never easy to beat the same team twice in one year but the Hornets believe they have discovered a formula to beat the Warriors, they just need to execute.

"We just have to match the intensity level or even exceed what we did last time," said Hornets linebacker Diego Delgado. "We need to improve on what we did wrong and play to the best of our abilities".

Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Saturday at Alamo Stadium and KRIS 6 Sports will have complete game coverage.
