CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — CCISD announced high-school football playoff start dates for this unusual, COVID-19-delayed season.

The district said in a release that Class 4A playoffs will start Nov. 13; 5A playoffs will start Dec 10.

Miller faces La Feria at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 13 at Cabaniss Multipurpose Complex. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Adult pre-sale ticket prices are $6, while student tickets will be available for $3. All tickets at the gate will be $8, if any are still available.

Per CCISD, ticket priority will be given to parents/guardians of varsity football players and staff, drill team, the cheer team and band, and will be available from 6-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Buccaneer Stadium ticket booth.

Miller students and faculty must wait until Wednesday to buy tickets or exchange badge IDs for 1 ticket, if some are still available, during a window between 6-7 pm.

Tickets will be available to the general public after 7 p.m. if any are left.

Noisemakers such as small cowbells and thundersticks will be allowed, and per COVID-19 restrictions, Cabaniss will limit groups to three people, with a 6-foot-distance gap between each group.

Winner of this game will play the winner of Lampasas or Pleasanton in the next round of playoffs.
