CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's a history-making night for Veterans Memorial High School and the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
Fans from across Corpus Christi will be venturing up I-37 into San Antonio for the Eagles' big game tonight against Cedar Park at Alamo Stadium.
It's the first time in 57 years a CCISD school is playing for the semifinals. It's the first school from Corpus Christi other than Calallen to advance to the state semifinals since 1963.
