CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Gregory-Portland and Veterans Memorial softball are advancing to the second round of playoffs after sweeping their Bi-District playoff series.
G-P defeated Palmview 11-1 and Veterans Memorial held off Rio Grande City 4-2.
