SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Flour Bluff defeated San Antonio Southside 31-21 in the area round of the playoffs.
The Hornets' offense struggled early in the game, but still held a `14-6 lead at halftime.
Southside tied the game on their opening drive of the second half but the Hornets reeled off 17 unanswered points to take a 31-14 lead.
Quarterback Nash Villegas had three rushing touchdowns and added a passing touchdown to Rayden Campbell in the fourth quarter.
Flour Bluff will next play Victoria West in the regional semifinals.
