CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The first basketball meeting of the Clash of the Catholics did not disappoint. Incarnate Word Academy girls' won in a late comeback 47-45 over St. John Paul II. The IWA boys dominated their second half game, winning 59-27.
The Lady Angels have not lost to St. John Paul II since 2011.
