Video game giant, EA Sports, made an announcement today that gamers nationwide have longed to hear since 2014: NCAA Football is back.
The company made an announcement this morning that they are once again developing the game for the first time since the 2013-2014 edition.
At this time there is no release date for the newest edition of the game but executives with the video game company expect a game to be ready for release in two to three years.
At the moment, EA Sports will be moving forward with the game without rosters that include the names, images, or likenesses of real college players. Current NCAA rules prohibit athletes from selling their NIL rights while in college.
The company says they are in the beginning stages of their planning and expect to have the game for the next-gen platforms Sony Playstation 5 and Microsoft X-BOX Series X.
