The excitement is building only two days away from the return of Top Rank Championship Boxing Friday night to the American Bank Center.

There are nine bouts on the card and four different titles will be up for grabs.

Most of the boxers on the card were present for today’s press conference.

All eyes will be on the big rematch between Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez and Jesse “Hollywood” Hart, battling for Ramirez’s WBO Super Middleweight world title.

Ramirez defeated Hart by winning a unanimous decision, but he said he’s not taking anything for granted.

“I have been preparing a lot for this fight,” the champion said. “And then we changed everything during training camp. We have a different plan for him and we are going to put in that plan Dec. 14. The most important thing is enjoy the fight with the fans.”

Rematches are always interesting. And it will be interesting to see what changes the boxers make going into this one.

“The first fight was an awesome, awesome spectacular fight,” Hart said. “I was down early, but I got back up and there’s still people this day who think it was a draw. Some people thought he won. Some people thought I won.”

It will be fascinating to see how these two go at it in the ring on Friday night.
