As we first reported last month, Scott Gines has resigned his post at Vice President of Athletics and Campus Recreation at Texas A&M Kingsville. He is leaving to become the director of athletics at division one Delaware St. His last day is next Tuesday , so we could not let him get away before saying goodbye.

Today, we caught with with Scott as he was busy wrapping up some last minute business for the Javelinas.

Gines has been with TAMUK for eleven years and has seen the athletic program prosper during his tenure. I asked him about his favorite memory and just how tough was it to leave Kingsville?

Check the video for his emotional answers.
