CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — New procedures will be implemented at the Corpus Christi Municipal Court to off to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Beginning Monday, June 1, 2020, Municipal Court will open to the public for payments and customer service only. Residents are still encouraged to resolve their case online, by email, mail, or by phone without appearing in person.
To protect the health and safety of court staff and members of the public, anyone visiting the building must:
- Wear a face mask
- Have your temperature taken upon entering
- Maintain social distancing
- Observe all COVID-19 precautions and signage
Anyone having a temperature of 100°F or higher will be denied entry to the building and asked to resolve their case using other available methods.
All in-person court dockets are canceled through July 31.
Notices with dates for next appearance will be mailed out to individuals with cases that get rescheduled.
A notice may require appearance through video conference.
