Sonny’s Barbacoa at 4066 S. Port Ave. has a big “We Are Open” sign for their customers as they celebrated a day they’ve been awaiting for a long time.
You can find Sonny's at the corner of Port and Horne. They are famous for their delicious barbacoa and chicharrones.
They’ve been around for 15 years and they celebrated this morning after reopening their dining room for customers.
Owner Tray Hoskins says his drive-thru business has been very good but felt like today was a good time to let his customers inside.
"We are so grateful that we can go back to some normalcy,” Hoskins said. “Our customers have been calling us like crazy for the last month and we are so excited."
Sonny's opens at 6 a.m. with a tantalizing array of breakfast tacos to feed your hunger.
