CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In today's We're Open, we look at one of the largest providers of fresh fried flounder in the Coastal Bend.
King Seafood at 3315 Baldwin is open to provide all you want with fried seafood.
The iconic westside location is where a lot of people love to go to get their fried flounder fix at the corner of Baldwin and Morgan.
They have been dishing the fish for 14 years. Customers arrive here early and often to get some of the most popular seafood in the area.
They sell on the average of about 50 pounds of flounder daily.
"It's a big piece and very delicious with a mild flavor taste," King Seafood general manager David Zuniga said. "It's not too fishy and it's very filling. So you will be satisfied."
And much of the fish they serve up is caught locally.
