CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In today's We're Open report, we highlight a classic restaurant in the Annaville area started by a family who came from Italy to establish South Texas roots.
The Land & Sea Restaurant, 9301 Leopard, is run by brothers Julian and Paulo Ottino. They've owned the restaurant for 16 years.
They can pretty much make anything you're hungry for.
The Ottinos had lived around the world before deciding to settle in South Texas.
"Basically, I was on my way back to Australia, but came to visit a lady who sells businesses in corpus christi," Julian Ottino said. "She showed us the opportunity that we took which was Land and Sea. We've been here ever since."
And they have found a way to live close to their work over the years.
Very close in fact.
