CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In today's We're Open segment, we spotlight a successful RV center that has been taking care of Coastal Benders for 17 years.
CCRV at 8045 Interstate 37 always captures the attention of motorists in its area because of its big sign.
They've been there at their current home for 10 years, making people happy about the chance to get away.
Allen Libbe and Jerry Boehm started their business in 2003 in Flour Bluff before moving to their current location at Interstate 37 and Suntide in 2010.
Many oil field companies rely on them to provide units to live in on sites throughout South Texas.
You can find all sorts of recreational vehicles on their lot from pop ups to the big 40-footers.
CCRV is big on giving back to the community. In fact, they will donate small trailers for anyone who needs to borrow them for fund-raising activities.
And they will drop them off and pick them up absolutely free.
“For instance, this is a concession trailer and it has air conditioning and lights," Libbe said. "A lot of people will sell t-shirts or give out waters or during Buc Days sell beer out of it. It’s a great way for them to raise money.”
If you want to borrow any of their trailers, all you have to do is give them a call. They will be happy to talk to you about it.i
