PepsiCo and a Russian company calledStartRocket are planning to make an artificial constellation by launching a bunch of CubeSats into the sky.

What is a CubeSat? Space.com says, “CubeSats are miniature satellites that have been used exclusively in low Earth orbit for 15 years, and are now being used for interplanetary missions as well.”

According to Futurism, the project is set to launch in 2021 and the first advertisement will be part of a campaign against false prejudices and stereotypes against gamers by an energy drink called Adrenaline Rush.

PepsiCo believes in the future of this new advertising frontier.

“We believe in StartRocket potential,” Russian PepsiCo spokesperson Olga Mangova told Futurism. “Orbital billboards are the revolution on the market of communications. ”

On the low end of the donation spectrum, StartRocket has 8 hours of orbital billboard display available for $20,000 a pop.
