CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two people have been arrested on murder charges in the shooting death of Jasmine Lynn Ozuna.
A SWAT team was called to the 1800 block of Misty Drive at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night to facilitate the arrest of 18-year-old Isaac Molina. Officers also arrested 18-year-old David Molina at 1:45 a.m. today in the 3900 block of SPID.
Both mens' bonds are set at $1 million.
"I just want to thank CCPD for making an arrest," said Sylvia Ozuna, Jasmine's mother. "We need justice for our baby girl. She had just turned 21 last Monday, and 3 days later they took her from us."
Ozuna was found Thursday night at Trojan and Greenwood drives. She told officers she had been shot near Misty and Moody drives, across from Moody High School. She later died at the hospital.
Sylvia Ozuna tells KRIS 6 News Jasmine will be buried in a private ceremony on Friday.
