H-E-B recalls Hill Country Fare juices, possible presence of milk allergens

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall of certain juice products sold at their stores due to milk allergen contaminates.

"People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products," said H-E-B in a press release.

The recall is specifically for gallon-sizes of Hill Country Fare Pink Lemonade, Citrus Punch, Fruit Drink, and Grape Drink.

H-E-B saysthe affected product has been removed from store shelves in Texas and Mexico. The recalled products can be returned to the store for a full refund.

This recall notice does not impact Central Market stores.

There have been no reported illnesses related to this recall, according to H-E-B.
