AUSTIN, Texas — State officials have added another 59 deaths to the total of those who were killed during the February freeze and power outages.

The new death tally released by the Texas Department of State Health Services on Tuesday raised the number of deaths from 151 to 210.

Many were due to exposure to the sometimes sub-zero temperatures.

Officials say the number may change as more deaths are confirmed.
