CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One hundred students from West Oso ISD are stepping into the new school year in style.
Doors to the J.C. Penney Store at La Palmera Mall opened early today as kids from JFK Elementary and West Oso Elementary arrived for their shopping spree.
Gift cards were distributed to students and volunteers helped the kids pick out new clothes for school.
The J.C. Penney Back-To-School Shopping Days are made possible with the help of local non-profit organizations and a number of corporate partners.
