Police are searching for three kidnapped boys in “imminent danger”

According to the McCulloch County Sherriff’s Office,  parents Maria and Jeffrey Gilseth allegedly took their children back from Child Protective Services after they were removed from their custody because of family violence and “other stuff.”

The children were taken from their parents by Child Protective Services on Thursday in Killeen, Texas. The next day, during a supervised visit, Maria and Jeffrey managed to kidnap 11-year-old Hunter Gilseth, nine-year-old Dylan Gilseth, and four-year-old Levi Gilseth and escape in a gold and black Ford Explorer with the license plate LDC1235

The father, a US veteran, Jeffrey was said to be armed at the time. He was also said to have had problems in the military with threats of family violence, according to McCulloch County Sheriff John Dagen.

She has been described as white, brown hair, brown eyes, 5 foot 3 inches tall, and 150 pounds. He has been described as white, brown hair, green eyes, 5 foot 10 inches tall, and 250 pounds.

Warrants have been issued for their arrest and police warn citizens to not engage with the armed suspects and immediately call the Bell County Crime Stopperstip line at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or the McCulloch County Sheriff’s Office at (325) 597-0639.
