MESQUITE, TX (KXAS) – The cries of a puppy are heard on video as it’s stolen from a fenced-in yard.
Police in Mesquite, Texas is investigating the video of the incident after it was posted on social media.
Two men stand along the fence and one snatches a 10-week old puppy by grabbing the scruff of its neck.
The owner of the dogs was at work and came home to find his puppy was missing.
The puppy, named chipper, is a French Mastiff, red with white patches on his chest.
The owner, who breeds French Mastiffs at his home says Chipper has an implanted microchip, which gives him a better chance of returning home.
