(NBC)- Police say rapper Nipsey Hussle has died after being shot outside his clothing store in south Los Angeles.
Officials say the Grammy-nominated rapper was one of three people shot.
The shooting happened just before 3:30 p.m. in the outside of a strip mall where the rapper’s ” marathon” clothing store is located.
The 33-year-old’s debut album “victory lap” was nominated for best rap album at this year’s Grammy awards.
NBA players LeBron James and Stephen Curry along with numerous other celebrities have tweeted their condolences.
