CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The man Corpus Christi Police Department officers discovered slumped over in the driver seat just after midnight on Saturday morning in the 2600 block of McArdle Road has been identified.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man as 41-year-old Abel Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was found by the new Cunningham Middle School.
They declined to give a cause of death.
Officers tell us he died from what they're calling a possible gunshot wound, and they're still trying to figure out how it all happened.
