CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Several local churches will offering "Ashes to Go" on Ash Wednesday. The faithful can receive the cross made of ashes on their forehead without having to get out of their cars.
The churches offer it as a service for those who may not have the time to attend service tomorrow.
Clergy from All Saints Episcopal Church will be dispensing "Drive-thru" Ashes from 7 am to 6 pm. They be right in front of the church on 3026 Staples Street which is next to the Kostoryz and Staples intersection.
Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church will off the service from 6 am to 7 pm at 622 Airline Road. Clergy and laypersons will be set up across the street from the Church.
